Woodsafe’s range of fire-retardant wood is impregnated with world-leading retardant agents, either Dricon or Non-Com, depending on the specific application area.
Woodsafe is available in standard or special configuration in all existing profiles and dimensions and in 14 different types of wood, such as spruce, pine, cedar, larch, oak, birch, maple, ash and poplar. We keep a limited supply of spruce lumber in stock but since we at Woodsafe Timber Protection enjoy far-reaching cooperation with both sawmills and planing mills, we can quickly and efficiently deliver lumber in accordance with your specific needs. All our lumber can be delivered in varying, stack-cut or precision-cut lengths.
The normal delivery time for spruce, pine, larch and plywood is two to three weeks from order receipt. Other materials take somewhat longer. Why use Woodsafe fire-retardant wood? The answer is simple.
Using Sweden’s immense timber resources both outdoors as façade material and indoors for furnishing, as wall materials or for decorative ceilings, should be as natural as Sweden’s famous right of way on public property. One precondition for being able to do that, however, is that the wood is treated in a fire-retardant process.
Wood is a unique material that, properly handled and treated with fire-retardant agent, can be used for an enormous range of applications where its natural properties give life and feeling to the end product. For instance, our Woodsafe Acoustic panelling serves as a flame-retardant layer, making it possible to create safe and unique environments with impressive acoustic characteristics.
Woodsafe fire-retardant wood, impregnated with the world-leading retardant agents Dricon or Non-Com depending on the application area, make it possible to use wood for construction, as a surface layer, as glued laminated timber, panelling and decorative material, wherever there are high fire-resistance standards, whether nationally or according to the EU’s CPD directive. Woodsafe is CE-marked as per Euroclass B-s1,d0 for fire-classified building materials.
