Sweden builds new wooden parking garage - sustainable, but are the fire requirements met?

“In early November 2009 the first wooden parking garage was inaugurated in Sweden. The garage is unique in many ways, most importantly it is built almost entirely in wood, both internal and external features. The parking garage is the first of its kind in Sweden with six floors (four of which are above ground) built this way.

School was completely destroyed in fire

A school at Hantverksvägen in Stenkullen burned to the ground on New Year's morning.

The alarm came at four o'clock on New Year's Day and when emergency services arrived at the school was already full flashover. Several units were on site but could not save the building.

Princess Madeleine's house on fire

It is meant as the Princess Madeleine's house.
At the 16-time alarms were a large number of firefighters to the house on Djurgården after it reached an alarm of fire in the attic.

The over 800-square-meter villa park cape is meant as the Princess Madeleine's coming home. One person rang on Tuesday afternoon in the SOS-alarm, and told that there were lots of black smoke from the attic.
